  1. This makes me feel too selfish.  The truth is if you don't take care of you, who will?  It is human nature for us to want to take care of others first. It is survival right, taking care of our offspring making sure humanity survives the big bad world.

  2. My family and friends will not understand.  Really…??!?!  Have you actually sat them down and asked them for what you need? I didn't think so.  Heck do you even KNOW what you want?

  3.  I don't have the time, I am way too busy now.  What is taking up all that time anyways?  Are your trapped in obligations and responsibilities?  

  4.  If I can't do it right, I don't do it at all.  If you are anything like me before I started this process and I am guessing you are… you are a control freak, workaholic perfectionist, meaning you will work 5 times as hard to make it perfect whatever it is.

  5. I know all of this…. It doesn't work for me. Are you really being honest here? Reading and knowing are very very different from ACTION.  Agreed not every path will work for you, but have you really tired?

Who am I, do I know what I am talking about?

I am a mother of 4 awesome kids, boys 22 & 19 and twin girls 18.  I have been a stay at home mom and I have worked full time outside of the house. I have failed and succeeded at many relationships and roles.

I spent that last 9 years of my "career" working at a large corporation dealing with climbing the career ladder in a very male driven environment.  I have watched the industry move in many directions and the tight competition that is faced each day in the work force by men and women alike.

Many times saw good people in either complete collapse or complete denial about their whole lives and the impact they were having on the people around them.


Why am I doing this?
